About the Siang Conservation and Livelihood Program
Epum Sirum, a local NGO at Gobuk, has been advocating reduced hunting in their village for more than a decade. Today, hunting of animals has reduced significantly. Since 2022, with the support of Titli Trust, Green Hub and Royal Enfield Social Mission, the local youth at Gobuk has documented the areas rich biodiversity. Using this information, nature-linked tourism has been initiated with numerous biodiversity meets and nature tours having been conducted, with paying visitors visiting Gobuk to experience its nature, culture and cuisine.
