Culture & heritage of the Adi tribe
The Adi Tribe has a rich cultural heritage, and their traditions and way of life are closely intertwined with the surrounding natural environment. Gobuk celebrates three festivals every year, namely Aran, Etor, and Solung, which are vibrant occasions for the locals to come together and celebrate their culture and traditions. Apart from its unique cultural heritage, Gobuk is also a biodiversity hotspot, home to a diverse range of birds, butterflies, and rare mammals. However, other most unique attraction of Gobuk is the mysterious Ane Kone stream. Objects that come into contact with the stream’s water gradually turn to stone over time.
