Epum Sirum is an NGO in Gobuk village, working on conservation and livelihoods, by involving the local community in the village. At Gobuk, the local community has banned hunting in community forests, and is actively seeking to conserve their flora and fauna. Epum Sirum has initiated a homestay program to promote nature-linked ecotourism, to incentivize conservation in their village.
